Dwarf

Stout people, said to be born of the earth. When asked, they refuse to discuss their origins, so little is known of the past of this race. They simply emerged from the mountains and caves as master smithies and some of the most powerful fighters known to the Light. They pride themselves in their ability to make anything from metal and make it look like a work of art while they're at it. A love for new types of metal and a pint of ale always drives them to fight at their best for any cause fathomable. Short tempered and can hold a grudge for centuries. Live for about 800 years, though dwarves of 1400 years of age have been reported.
