Matthias Shkar (originally Glorfendel) came from humble origins. An exile from the demonic order of Shkar as a result
of extremist views, he turned to dark elven demon worshippers to help his cause. Ancient fury drove him to attack the elven
capitol of Sylvius, an attack that penetrated to Que'lan, King of the Elves. The siege ended in tragedy when Glorfendel lost
a duel to the King.
After being tortured for several days, he agreed to enlist in the elven army. He learned a suprising amount
during the bootcamp, which was lead by the infamous Sergeant Spanky. Later, when it was learned that he had a college education,
he was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant, much to the distress of the Sergeant. One of the items issued to him he still uses, the
Bag of Infinite Putting.
While leading a patrol through an area previously occupied by a Shkar village, he met Galad-Tun, an
elven mage under Glorfendel's command, who became a friend for quite some time. Both witnessed the Seraphim attack ship level
the Shkar village, and he aided in the recovery of a Seraphim SMART arm.
